Whitney, thank you for joining us today! Let’s start off with a few quick getting to know you questions.
What is one of your favorite quotes?
I believe my favorite quote is by Helen Keller, “Life is a daring adventure or nothing.” I feel super grateful to have been able to live life as an adventure, with so many “colors” on my life’s palette!
What is one book that has inspired you?
One book that has inspired me (there are SO many—I am a book-a-holic!) is Journey of Souls, by Michael Newton. It came to me at a very transformative time in my life and helped me to make choices from my Soul’s perspective!
Do you have a favorite flavor of ice cream?
My favorite flavor of ice cream? Truly, I have often said that if I did not have this as my calling I would also be a rockin’ ice cream flavor designer. I am passionate about great ice cream and believe it is all about the layers of flavor and making sure all the pieces melt in your mouth seamlessly—so your not left chewing chunks of things in your mouth after the cream melts away! LOL
If you could be a superhero, who would you be and what would your super powers be?
Superhero? I always wanted to be FireStarter when I was a kid. I think I do that with my “work.” I coach people to recognize and fan the flame of their SACRED SPARK! I want to guide people into creating a life that gets them FIRED UP! How does it get any better than that!?
I do want to invite you to join me in my NEW Rise Above Master Class that is free until September 5th when you share your email at http://WhitneyFreya.com. We get to paint THIS butterfly together and share a three-fold journey together that will inspire you to RISE ABOVE!
In my new book Rise Above, Free Your Mind One Brush Stroke at a Time, each chapter is a different ENERGY that you can create, from within AND onto the canvas. It introduces a whole new creative awareness that I call Super Soul Flow! For example, here is the book open to the chapter on ABUNDANCE! I painted this Yellow Tara painting, a symbol of abundance and prosperity, to radiate its energy into my home office!
What advice would you give to our readers to help inspire their creativity?
I know that creativity is our life force energy. Want more of it. DO it. Paint, dance, sing…understand that your logical, ego, fear-based mind has its own Divine Assignment—and it is not to encourage you to leap into unknowns, risk new experiences, or channel your divine wisdom. Allow the intuitive, infinite side of you to GUIDE. Recognize the energy of joy, excitement and inspiration as the SIGN that your are being led by your highest wisdom into NEWness. Then, tell your logical mind what you need in order to make this “idea” (or whatever) happen!
You got this!
Where can people find you and your work?
