Years of
Founder Story

My mission is to inspire self-reflection and personal transformation through spiritual principles and the healing power of art. Unity teachings along with expressive arts activities provided an outlet for me during one of the most difficult times in my life. In 2007, my mother passed from Cancer months before my son was born. Smearing paint in an art journal as a form of meditation allowed me to process grief, embrace joy and ultimately experience a deeper connection with Spirit.

I founded UAM in 2017 in order to share with you the creative tools I learned along the way. It has been a joy to work alongside a supportive team and to witness participants experience a greater sense of connection, hope and creative freedom through this ministry.

“It has meant a lot to me to find a Unity ministry that focuses on Spirit through creative expression – whatever form that expression may take. Imagine understanding Unity principles at a deeper level by expressing your inner experiences through creative expression!”
