Affirming Joy
Our thoughts have a formative effect upon our lives. Setting our intentions upon what we want to see more of in our lives is a powerful spiritual practice. If you haven’t already found this to be true in your life, give it a try! Consider something you would like to experience more of: Joy, Peace, Hope, Faith, Abundance. Create something to help remind you of your positive focus. Many people write their affirmations. Creative affirmations may also be expressed through painting, song, poem, collage, or journal page.
This journal page, created in my first Visual Journal back in 2006, focuses upon affirming Joy. Using simple collage techniques, I glued down images from newspapers & magazines, wrote a message in colored pencil, and smeared paint in loose strokes. Try this simple and fun process for creating your own visual affirmation.
What do you want to experience more of in your life? You are an amazingly creative being! Pull out some art supplies, create the intention for your good, and welcome it in with open arms.
With love & blessings on your creative journey,
Rev. Jen

“Everything suddenly made so much sense. It was like a ton of weight was taken off my shoulders. It was okay being me and understanding what being enough is. THANK YOU SO MUCH for this experience.” -Linn
