Dreams Come True

Over five years ago, I sat outside the Unity Village Bookstore daydreaming with my new friends, Jenny Hahn and Shannon Sleeper. Each of us visual artists passionate about the Unity movement, we shared visions of bringing creative programming to the Unity campus. Pointing across the parking lot to a building wing lined with arched windows, Jenny said, “that’s where the art studio should be.”

As it turns out, that IS exactly where Unity Arts Ministry now has our offices and workshop studio! We have been planting thought seeds that have now grown into manifestation. This process is living proof of the teaching of the Law of Mind Action – “Thoughts held in mind produce after their kind.”

What are your dreams? What seeds have you been planting to help them grow?

One of my favorite creative tools for visualization is Vision Boarding. I’ve been creating them for years and have been hosting “Vision Board Parties” for the past several years. Participants are often telling me of synchronicity and dreams come true that were first pictured on their boards.

The image above is a Vision Board I created specifically around my vision for the Unity Arts Ministry Studio. It is inspirational to look at the board and compare it to the feeling that we are creating in the new studio space. While it is still a work in progress, we are excited to begin our programming in the space in February, 2019!

Before

The Power of Imagination and Visualization is indeed powerful. The next time you are working towards a new goal or wanting to take action on a personal dream, try making a Vision Board. It is a simple collage process of cutting and pasting images that resonate with your intention. Set it somewhere where you will see it regularly. Watch to see what unfolds.

After

If you live in the KCMO area, we invite you to join us for our upcoming Vision Board Party on Saturday February 2nd, 2019, 1-3pm. It will be our premiere event in the new studio space!

Where ever you are, I wish you many blessings on your creative journey!
