Open Studio

Come create in community at the Unity Arts Studio on the third Saturday of the month. Bring a project you are working on, or start a new one on site. Enjoy space to spread out, convenient studio tools, and artistic support. Whether you enjoy painting, knitting, collage, or writing poetry, this is a safe place for creative expression. You will be supported in an environment free from judgment or comparison.

We welcome teens and adults of all ages, races, genders, sexual orientations and abilities.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

Supplies: Bring your own supplies and creative projects. A selection of basic art supplies are available for use on site.

Dress: We suggest wearing something comfortable that you don’t mind getting messy in. Aprons will also be available.

Scholarship Fund: If you are experiencing financial hardship and would like to apply for a limited scholarship spot, please email info@unityartsministry.org.

Participant Release: Please note that by registering for any Unity Arts Ministry program you indicate agreement to the general terms and conditions as outlined in the UAM participant waiver and release.

Inclement Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, our studio will be closed. Ticket holders can exchange their ticket for a future event date. Please email info@unityartsministry.org if you are unable to make a future event and would like a refund.

Cancelation Policy: Ticketholders will be notified in advance of any class cancelations. In the event that UAM cancels a program, full refunds will be issued to prepaid participants.

As a courtesy, please contact the facilitator or email info@unityartsminsitry.org if you are unable to attend. Paid tickets may be transferred to a future date of the same program. No refunds issued for participant cancelation.

Directions & Parking: Unity Arts Ministry Studio is located on the 4th floor of the 100 building at the Unity Village campus. The address is 1901 NW Blue Pkwy 100 Building, 4th Floor, Unity Village, MO 64065. There is a parking lot on the SW side of the building. We’ve included a map here for easy reference. When you enter the corner door from the parking lot, if door is locked, please ring the buzzer and let the dispatcher know you are here for the Unity Arts Ministry event. You may either take the stairs or go around the corner to the elevator to get to the 4th floor. If you have any challenges with getting in or have specific accessibility needs, please call security at 816-347-5535.
