Chakra Paint: Get Grounded

Return to your roots through creative expression. Chakra Paint is a safe and supportive studio experience that utilizes paint and drawing materials as meditative tools. This engaged spiritual practice is a soothing balm for the strains of modern living.

“Get Grounded” is an embodied mixed-media art experience that will help you tap into the energy of your Root Chakra. Through soulful music and gentle, spiritual guidance you will paint, write and color your way to clarity, peace and a grounded state of being.

Meet Your Creative Guide

Rev. Jeniffer Hutchins is the founder of Unity Arts Ministry. She holds a bachelor’s degree in art education and a master’s in divinity. Through Unity Arts Ministry she presents creativity workshops, gives inspirational talks around the country and provides spiritual support to individuals. She has been featured in magazine, radio and podcast interviews and was a contributing author for Crafting Gratitude: Creating and Celebrating our Blessings with Hands and Heart by Maggie Oman Shannon.

Jeniffer is the host of “The Art of You” which originally aired on New Thought Channel. As an artist she is inspired by her love of nature and travels cross-country and abroad. Through her art, she seeks to represent the interconnection between humanity, nature and God. She works with a variety of media including paint, collage, photography and art journaling. Additional Details

Supplies: All supplies provided including paper, acrylic paint, watercolor paint, oil pastels, crayons, colored pencils.

Dress: We suggest wearing something comfortable that you don’t mind getting messy in. Aprons will also be available.

Refund Policy: Refunds minus a $10 processing fee will be offered up till 24 hours prior to the event. No refunds will be given the day of the event. You may gift your ticket to a friend.

Directions & Parking: Unity Arts Ministry Studio is located on the 4th floor of the 100 building at the Unity Village campus. The address is 1901 NW Blue Pkwy 100 Building, 4th Floor, Unity Village, MO 64065. There is a parking lot on the SW side of the building. We’ve included a map here for easy reference. When you enter the corner door from the parking lot, please ring the buzzer and let the dispatcher know you are here for the Unity Arts Ministry event. You may either take the stairs or go around the corner to the elevator to get to the 4th floor. If you have any challenges with getting in or have specific accessibility needs, please call 858-926-9473.

Road Closure Notice: Please note that Colbern Road is closed in front of Unity Village due to construction. Use the main entrance to the Unity Village campus located at NW Blue Parkway. The only access is from Rt 470 / 350 or Bannister Road.
